Valentine Treasure Hunt

Valentine Treasure Hunt

Usborne Books At Home's online catalogue has many titles that have see inside pages to allow you to take a peek inside the book before you purchase it. We have created a treasure hunt using these see inside pages. Three lucky randomly drawn treasure hunters will each win a copy of Chocolates and candies to make.

To win one of three copies of this yummy title, you will need to go to the online catalogue, find the answers to the following questions.  Then e-mail the answers along with your name, address and phone number to Debbie by February 28th, 2009.

1. How many valentine boxes are on page 23 of Valentine Things To Make and Do?
2. Who wants 3 big scoops of vanilla ice cream on page 8 of Poems for Little Children?
3. Strawberries are tasty snacks.  What healthy snack can you learn to make on page 9 of The Usborne Healthy Cook Book?

Internet Linked Books

Internet Linked Books

The first, biggest and best range of internet-linked books taking your Usborne experience to the next level.

Usborne internet-linked books save time by cutting out search engines. They take readers quickly and safely to all of the best places on the Internet via links.

Here is an example of how Usborne internet-linking works:

1. Having purchased your book, e.g. Discovery Bugs, you will find Internet-links referenced on some of the pages. (See spread above.)

2. Enter the Usborne Quicklinks website and type 'discovery bugs' into the Keyword Search box. You can then search the links appropriate to this book by page number (e.g. 30).

3. Click on the options to go to the recommended website.
